Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026

Steady Path exists to help parents coordinate a child's life calmly. This policy sets out how the service may and may not be used. It applies to everyone who uses Steady Path, and it forms part of the Terms & Conditions.

1. Use the service for its purpose

Steady Path is intended for organizing parenting schedules, communication, expenses, records, and related family information. Use it in a way that is lawful, honest, and consistent with the safety of the children and adults involved.

2. Prohibited behaviour

You must not use Steady Path to:

  • Harass, bully, intimidate, or repeatedly contact someone against their wishes.
  • Threaten violence or harm against any person, or incite anyone else to do so.
  • Engage in, plan, or facilitate any illegal activity.
  • Impersonate another person, misrepresent your relationship to a child, or create an account on someone else's behalf without their authority.
  • Attempt to access an account, record, or data that does not belong to you, or to bypass any authentication or access control.
  • Upload, transmit, or link to malicious software, or otherwise interfere with the integrity of the service.
  • Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or advertising.
  • Abuse the platform — including automated scraping, excessive automated requests, reverse engineering, resale of access, or circumventing usage or technical limits.
  • Deliberately disrupt or degrade the service for other users, including through denial-of-service attempts or probing for vulnerabilities without permission.
  • Store or share unlawful content, including content that sexually exploits or endangers a child, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Fabricate or alter records with the intention of misleading another person, a professional, or any authority.

3. Content you create

You are responsible for what you write, upload, and store. Keep entries factual and relevant to coordinating your child's life. Do not upload information about third parties that you have no legitimate reason to hold.

4. AI features

Steady AI is a drafting and explanation aid. Do not rely on it as legal, medical, or psychological advice, and do not present its output as the verified opinion of any professional. AI-generated suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate, and you are responsible for reviewing anything before you send or act on it.

5. Reporting a problem

If you believe someone is using Steady Path in breach of this policy, email steadypathsupport@gmail.com. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

6. Consequences of a breach

We may investigate suspected breaches and take action that is proportionate to what we find, including removing content, restricting a feature, suspending an account, or terminating access. Serious breaches — particularly those involving safety, unlawful content, or security — may be reported to the appropriate authorities. Where the law allows and it is safe to do so, we will tell you what action we have taken and why.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
